Hailing from Perth, Coin Banks has been on the local scene for a while, originally with hip-hop group The Stoops the crew saw some success, but since going solo in 2012 things have steadily been accelerating for the MC. Having recently been given the opportunity through Triple J Unearthed to produce a film clip with NIDA we see the results with his single Someone from the upcoming EP Tails. It’s the follow up to his recent EP release, Heads. We sense some sort of theme, heh. Can’t wait til he “flips it” or “two ups” his current success.
